ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,268,453, issued on April 8, was assigned to Medtronic Navigation Inc. (Lafayette, Colo.).

"Navigation system and method" was invented by Brad Jacobsen (Erie, Colo.), Danail G. Danailov (Westminster, Colo.), Andrew Bzostek (Boulder, Colo.) and Andrew Wald (Fort Worth, Texas).
