US Patent Issued to Meditrina on July 22 for "Medical robotic system" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,364,389, issued on July 22, was assigned to Meditrina Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Medical robotic system" was invented by Csaba Truckai (Saratoga, Calif.), John H. Shadduck (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Akos Toth (Cupertino, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Robotic surgical systems configured to control the movement and actuation of a single robotic arm, and the movement and actuation of multiple tools carried at a distal end of the robotic arm."

The patent was filed on June 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/331,785.
