ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,388,612, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to MediaTek Singapore Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).

"Optimization of BCC interleaver and LDPC tone mapper for distributed-tone resource units and distributed-tone multi-resource units" was invented by Shengquan Hu (San Jose, Calif.), Jianhan Liu (San Jose, Calif.) and Thomas Edward Pare Jr. (San Jose, Calif.).
