US Patent Issued to MediaTek on June 10 for "Reducing precharge power consumption in a memory array" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,327,602, issued on June 10, was assigned to MediaTek Inc. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Reducing precharge power consumption in a memory array" was invented by Gajanan Sahebrao Jedhe (San Jose, Calif.) and Chetan Deshpande (San Jose, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An output node of a cell of a memory device is precharged based on an activation input for the cell. A memory device includes precharge circuitry configured to precharge an output node of a cell of the memory device based on an activation input for the cell."

The patent was filed on Feb. 27, 2023, under Application No. 18/175,511.
