ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,369,704, issued on July 29, was assigned to MCP IP LLC (Sparta, Wis.).
"Accessory lanyard" was invented by Brandon J. Gann (Sparta, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In some embodiments, a lanyard comprises a body comprising a first end, a midportion and a second end. A first engaging member and a second engaging member are magnetically attracted to one another. The first end comprises a handle and the first engaging member. The second end is configured for attachment to a device."
