US Patent Issued to McCormick & Co. on Aug. 19 for "Flavor-changing product" (Maryland Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,389,928, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to McCormick & Co. Inc. (Hunt Valley, Md.).

"Flavor-changing product" was invented by Molly Zimmerman (Hunt Valley, Md.) and Jason Mittelheuser (Hunt Valley, Md.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides flavored compositions including flavored particulate materials having different solubilities or dissolution rates and food and beverage compositions, including flavor-changing food and beverage products, comprising the flavored compositions."

The patent was filed on Oct. 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/926,935.
