ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,336,638, issued on June 24, was assigned to MAXTRAS B.V. (Wijchen, Netherlands).
"Adaptable mattress" was invented by Willem Leonard Frits Treffers (Wijchen, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is in the field of an adaptable mattress wherein parts are removably attached to one and another. The mattress, or at least one part thereof, is typically reusable, and hence also recyclable. The mattress can be adapted to a user thereof. The present invention also relates to a method of forming said adaptable mattress, and to a kit of parts."
