US Patent Issued to Maxterial on July 15 for "Pneumatic devices including surface coatings" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,289, issued on July 15, was assigned to Maxterial Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.).

"Pneumatic devices including surface coatings" was invented by Atieh Haghdoost (Pleasanton, Calif.), Mehdi Kargar (Pleasanton, Calif.), Ersan Ilgar (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Daniel Church (Pleasanton, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Pneumatic articles that include a moveable component with a coated surface are described. The coated surface can include a surface coating including an alloy layer that includes molybdenum or tungsten in combination with one or more other materials.
