ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,418,114, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Matsing Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).

"360deg communications lenses and systems" was invented by Serguei Matitsine (Dallas), Leonid Matytsine (Irvine, Calif.) and Anthony DeMarco (Leadville, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An antenna has multiple RF elements disposed about a lens in at least two tracks. The at least two tracks collectively subtend more than 360deg about the lens, providing highly customizable, adaptable, and steerable wireless communication. An array of multiple lenses and tracks is also contemplated."
