"Multifunctional metasurface flat optics" was invented by Juejun Hu (Newton, Mass.), Tian Gu (Acton, Mass.), Fan Yang (Cambridge, Mass.), Sensong An (Malden, Mass.) and Hung-I Lin (Cambridge, Mass.).
