ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,869, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Masimo Corp. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Disposable components for reusable physiological sensor" was invented by Ammar Al-Ali (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.), Marcelo Lamego (Cupertino, Calif.), Jim Litchfield (Singapore) and Gregory A. Olsen (Lake Forest, Calif.).
