ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,465,270, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Masimo Corp. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Depth of consciousness monitor including oximeter" was invented by Ammar Al-Ali (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) and Yassir Abdul-Hafiz (Irvine, Calif.).
