US Patent Issued to MAREL SALMON on June 17 for "Machine for filleting fish" (Danish Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,170, issued on June 17, was assigned to MAREL SALMON A/S (Stovring, Denmark).

"Machine for filleting fish" was invented by Palle Kaergaard Larsen (Vodskov, Denmark).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A machine for filleting fish includes a filleting station with two circular, rotating cutting blades arranged to perform plane cutting of the fish. To increase yield, the cutting blades are movable towards or away from each other by a linear actuator."
