"Geranium plant named 'MVNG1905'" was invented by Marco van Noort (Warmond, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new cultivar of Geranium sanguineum plant named, 'MVNG1905', characterized by its flowers that are relatively large in size that open pink and change to violet-purple in color, its re-blooming throughout the season, its long flowering season that commences early in the season, and its broadly spreading and slightly upright plant habit."

The patent was filed on Feb. 8, 2025, under Application No. 19/048,920.
