ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,344, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to MAKO Surgical Corp. (Weston, Fla.).

"Surgical system with occlusion detection" was invented by Hyosig Kang (Weston, Fla.), Dennis Moses (Doral, Fla.) and Arthur Quaid (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.).
