ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,463,473, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to MAKITA Corp. (Anjo, Japan).

"Electric work machine" was invented by Kei Kouda (Anjo, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electric work machine includes a stator including a stator core, an insulator fixed to the stator core, and a coil mounted on the insulator, a rotor at least a part of which is disposed on an outer circumferential side of the stator, the rotor including a magnet, a stator base including a first heat dissipation fin and supporting the stator core, and an output unit driven by the rotor."

The patent was filed on Oct. 21, 2021, under Application No. 18/037,188.
