ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,049, issued on June 10, was assigned to MAJOR WIRE INDUSTRIES Ltd. (Candiac, Canada).
"Self-cleaning screen" was invented by Peter Bauer (Quebec, Canada), Yves Brouillette (Quebec, Canada), Patrick Rousson (Quebec, Canada) and Bernhard Betts (Quebec, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A self-cleaning screen is formed via additive printing. The dimensions of the self-cleaning screen are modified. Supports are printed via additive printing. The supports are formed over a plurality of wires. Side seals may be additively printed along major sides of the plurality of wires. Wear of the screens is monitored."
