ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,480,715, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Mahle International GmbH (Germany) and MAHLE Japan Ltd. (Japan).

"Heat exchanger" was invented by Masahiro Ariyama (Tokyo), Ryoichi Kurihara (Tokyo), Takuma Shibata (Tokyo), Satoshi Suzuki (Tokyo), Kenji Wada (Tokyo) and Kenji Yamashita (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A heat exchanger may include a stacked plurality of plates and a fin plate brazed to each other.
