US Patent Issued to Magswitch Automation on Nov. 18 for "Adjustable end-of-arm tool or fixture" (American, German Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,642, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Magswitch Automation Co. (Superior, Colo.).

"Adjustable end-of-arm tool or fixture" was invented by David H. Morton (Boulder, Colo.) and Cengiz Kizilkan (Ingolstadt, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Adjustable end of arm tools for robots and fixtures are disclosed. The adjustable end of arm tools and fixtures may each have multiple degrees of freedom to position an interface of a tool in one of a plurality of configurations."
