ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,754, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Magnetic Insight Inc. (Alameda, Calif.).

"Magnetic particle actuation" was invented by Daniel Westbrook Hensley (Emeryville, Calif.), Matthias Weber (Oakland, Calif.), Elaine Yuiyi Yu (Alameda, Calif.), Robert Blayne Kettlewell (Berkeley, Calif.), Kyle David Fields (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) and Patrick William Goodwill (Oakland, Calif.).
