ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,316,940, issued on May 27, was assigned to Magna Electronics Inc. (Auburn Hills, Mich.).

"Vehicular camera assembly process using laser etching for active focusing after lens is secured relative to imager" was invented by Jeffrey A. White (Howell, Mich.) and Zhongyao Liu (Troy, Mich.).
