US Patent Issued to Luxium Solutions, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Paris on Nov. 18 for "Scintillator material comprising a doped halide perovskite" (French Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,489, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Luxium Solutions LLC (Hiram, Ohio), Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (Paris) and Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Paris (Paris).

"Scintillator material comprising a doped halide perovskite" was invented by Vladimir Ouspenski (Saint-Pierre-les-Nemours, France), Thierry Pauporte (Vincennes, France) and Bruno Viana (Montgeron, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A scintillator material for an ionizing radiation detector comprising a halide perovskite, said perovskite having one of the following formulations: (A')2(A)n-1[MnX3n+1] with n a positive integer between 1 and 100, inc...
