ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,113, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Lumitec LLC (Delray Beach, Fla.).
"Marine navigation light with flexible circuit" was invented by Steven Marc Rotolante (Jupiter, Fla.), Britain Andrews Fisher (Boynton Beach, Fla.), Michael Albion Kestner (Boynton Beach, Fla.) and Christopher Robert Fulmer (Jupiter, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An LED navigation light comprising a flexible electrical circuit with LEDs wrapped around a core, wherein at least one LED faces inward, and light output is shaped by the core's openings and/or portions of the flexible electrical circuit."
