US Patent Issued to LUCCA VENTURES on March 11 for "Modular communication device" (Connecticut Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,250,506, issued on March 11, was assigned to LUCCA VENTURES INC. (Southington, Conn.).

"Modular communication device" was invented by Lucca Riccio (Southington, Conn.), Michael Riccio (Southington, Conn.), Daniel Dean Briere (Mansfield Center, Conn.) and Timothy Corcoran Repp (Barkhamsted, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure presents a communication device configured to removably attach to a mask, and to receive, transmit, and amplify sound and/or speech from a wearer."
