ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,350, issued on May 13, was assigned to Lubrizol Advanced Materials Inc. (Cleveland).
"Thermoplastic polyurethane and process for making a thermoplastic polyurethane and components thereof" was invented by Trinidad Piedra Clemente (Barcelona, Spain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A heat resistant thermoplastic polyurethane composition is made by a reaction including a polyol component comprising the reaction of Epsilon-caprolactone initiated with a polydimethylsiloxane and a polyether polyol."
The patent was filed on Aug. 4, 2020, under Application No. 17/632,285.
