ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,423, issued on July 15, was assigned to LOUISIANA-PACIFIC CORP. (Nashville, Tenn.).

"Self-sealing joint sealing system" was invented by Jeffrey Yelle (Hendersonville, Tenn.), Jianwen Ni (Franklin, Tenn.), Phillip J. Vacca Jr. (St. John, Ind.) and Theodore Peters (Cullman, Ala.).
