US Patent Issued to LOTTE on Jan. 20 for "Frozen dessert" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,527,335, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to LOTTE Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Frozen dessert" was invented by Junko Todo (Saitama, Japan), Hisashi Kanbe (Saitama, Japan) and Naoya Akiyama (Saitama, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "It is an object of the present invention to provide a frozen dessert which suppresses separation between a liquid and a solid (at least one solid when there are a plurality of solids). The object can be attained by a frozen dessert including an ice mix, a dietary fiber derived from a citrus fruit, and a food solid."
