ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,280,914, issued on April 22, was assigned to Logitech Europe S.A. (Lausanne, Switzerland).
"Eco-friendly hang tabs" was invented by Adam Christopher Schettle (North Las Vegas, Nev.) and Wang Yong (Shenzhen, China).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments described herein are generally related to a device used to display a consumer product, which are referred to herein as a hang tab. More specifically, to eco-friendly hang tabs made of biodegradable, degradable, and/or recyclable materials that can be used to display consumer products."
The patent was filed on May 2, 2024, under Application No. 18/653,756.
