ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,302,571, issued on May 13, was assigned to Lodestar Licensing Group LLC (Evanston, Ill.).

"Microelectronic devices with pillars or openings extending through a tiered stack" was invented by John D. Hopkins (Meridian, Idaho), Nancy M. Lomeli (Boise, Idaho), Justin B. Dorhout (Boise, Idaho) and Damir Fazil (Boise, Idaho).
