ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,000, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to LOCUS SOLUTIONS IPCO LLC (Solon, Ohio).
"Methods for producing reduced carbon footprint biofuels" was invented by Sean Farmer (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) and Paul Zorner (Encinitas, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The subject invention provides compositions and methods for reducing the carbon footprint of producing biofuels. Microbe-based soil treatment compositions are utilized to reduce greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the agricultural practices of producing feedstock crops."
