ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,339,550, issued on June 24, was assigned to LMPU Holding Corp. (Old Westbury, N.Y.).
"Active-matrix LCD with resistive memory" was invented by Dmitri Pescianschi (Quedlinburg, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An active-matrix liquid crystal display (AM LCD), which uses controlled resistors with memory instead of capacitors as memory elements for pixels. The voltage control on the liquid crystal cell is performed by means of a voltage divider on the controlled resistors."
The patent was filed on Aug. 21, 2024, under Application No. 18/810,808.
