ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,965, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to LITE-ON TECHNOLOGY Corp. (Taipei, Taiwan).

"Optical sensing module" was invented by Chen-Hsiu Lin (New Taipei, Taiwan) and Yu-Chou Lin (New Taipei, Taiwan).
