ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. RE50,720, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Lion Semiconductor Inc. (Austin, Texas).

"Switched capacitor regulators with flying-inverter-controlled power switches" was invented by Alberto Alessandro Angelo Puggelli (Cupertino, Calif.), Zhipeng Li (Fremont, Calif.) and Thomas Li (Mountain View, Calif.).
