ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,535,700, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Lightwave Logic Inc. (Longmont, Colo.).

"Active region-less modulator and method" was invented by Michael Lebby (San Francisco), Yasufumi Enami (Tucson, Ariz.) and Zhiming Liu (Englewood, Colo.).
