ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,731, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to LIFE CHANGING MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Lake Mary, Fla.).

"Aortopulmonary electrical stimulator-pressure transducer" was invented by Donald Murrill Botta Jr. (Maitland, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In an embodiment herein, an aortopulmonary stimulation method is provided including positioning at least one aortic electrode in or near the aorta, and using the at least one aortic electrode, to deliver stimulation to the aorta to decrease aortic after load."
