ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,302, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to LG ENERGY SOLUTION LTD. (Seoul, South Korea).
"Negative electrode active material, preparation method thereof, and negative electrode and secondary battery including same" was invented by Li Lin Piao (Daejeon, South Korea) and Sang Wook Woo (Daejeon, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A negative electrode active material including natural graphite. The negative electrode active material has a ratio of D90 to D10, which is D90/D10, of 2.0 to 2.2, a tap density of 1.11 g/cm3 to 1.19 g/cm3, and a BET specific surface area of 2.02 m2/g to 2.30 m2/g."
