US Patent Issued to LG Energy Solution on Feb. 18 for "Battery module and battery pack including the same" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,230,819, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to LG Energy Solution Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Battery module and battery pack including the same" was invented by Hyunjae Lee (Daejeon, South Korea), Junyeob Seong (Daejeon, South Korea) and Yongjoon Choi (Daejeon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a battery cell stack, in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, and a wrap film. The wrap film extends continuously around the battery cell stack so as to surround a top surface, a lower surface, and both side surfaces of the battery cell stack."
