US Patent Issued to LG ENERGY SOLUTION on April 29 for "Method for determining remaining capacity of lithium-sulfur battery, and battery pack implementing same method" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,287,373, issued on April 29, was assigned to LG ENERGY SOLUTION LTD. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Method for determining remaining capacity of lithium-sulfur battery, and battery pack implementing same method" was invented by Bong Soo Kim (Daejeon, South Korea), Dongseok Shin (Daejeon, South Korea) and Taek Gyoung Kim (Daejeon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides a method for determining the remaining capacity of a lithium-sulfur battery using a voltage drop value obtained by applying a constant current in an open-circuit state and a battery pack implementing the method."
