ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,809, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, South Korea).
"Dishwasher" was invented by Sung Sik Kim (Seoul, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dishwasher minimizes the flow of wash water, being scattered in a washing stage or a rinsing stage, into an airflow guide through a discharge opening and the remaining wash water in the airflow guide, and prevents the reverse inflow of wash water having passed through the airflow guide to a dry air supply part."
The patent was filed on Nov. 18, 2022, under Application No. 17/989,953.
