US Patent Issued to LG Electronics on Nov. 25 for "Cleaner" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,478,231, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Cleaner" was invented by Bohyun Nam (Seoul, South Korea), Namhee Kim (Seoul, South Korea), Jinju Kim (Seoul, South Korea), Hyeonjeong An (Seoul, South Korea) and Jungbae Hwang (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cleaner includes a suction motor that generates suction force, a dust separation unit that is disposed under the suction motor and separates dust from air, a handle disposed behind the suction motor, and a battery disposed under the handle and behind the dust separation unit to supply power to the suction motor."
