US Patent Issued to LG Electronics on Jan. 20 for "Refrigerator" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,505, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Refrigerator" was invented by Kyong Bae Park (Seoul, South Korea), Sangbok Choi (Seoul, South Korea) and Sungwook Kim (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A refrigerator in which a performance cycle for a next frost detection operation according to a logic temperature (triangleHt) checked through a frost detection operation may be changed. Thus, unnecessary power consumption may be reduced and power consumption efficiency may be improved."
