ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,436,420, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to LG Display Co. Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).
"Display device" was invented by Chulho Shin (Gunpo-si, South Korea) and Chinll Park (Paju-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to an exemplary of the present disclosure, a display device includes a display panel which displays images and a bottom cover which encloses a rear surface and a side surface of the display panel, and a lower end of the bottom cover extends from a lower end of the display panel to dispose a source printed circuit board in an inner space. By doing this, the entire thickness is reduced to implement a slim design...
