ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,484, issued on April 15, was assigned to LG Display Co. Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An organic light emitting diode which suppresses external light reflection while reducing loss of light generated in an organic light emitting layer is disclosed.
