ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,304,976, issued on May 20, was assigned to LG Chem Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Polyethylene and chlorinated polyethylene thereof" was invented by Cheolhwan Jeong (Daejeon, South Korea), Si Jung Lee (Daejeon, South Korea), Bog Ki Hong (Daejeon, South Korea), Sunghyun Park (Daejeon, South Korea), Sun Mi Kim (Daejeon, South Korea) and Yi Young Choi (Daejeon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A polyethylene according to the present disclosure maintains a stable crystal structure at a high temperature and ensures excellent uniformity in chlorine distribution, thereby preparing a chlorinated polyethylene having excellent chlorination ...
