ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,255,317, issued on March 18, was assigned to LG Chem Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Positive electrode active material for secondary battery, method of preparing the same, and lithium secondary battery including the positive electrode active material" was invented by Dong Joon Ahn (Daejeon, South Korea), Jung Ho Lim (Daejeon, South Korea) and Yeo June Yoon (Daejeon, South Korea).
