ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,325, issued on May 27, was assigned to LEXICON PHARMACEUTICALS INC. (The Woodlands, Texas).

"Methods and compounds useful in the synthesis of an AAK1 inhibitor" was invented by Tao Chen (Wuxi, China), Wenxue Wu (Princeton Junction, N.J.), Jun Yan (Changzhou, China), Xianglu Zeng (Changzhou, China) and Matthew Mangzhu Zhao (Edison, N.J.).
