According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A circuit breaker is configured to be remotely caused to enter ON and OFF states. A lever arm is pivotably coupled to a main contact spring. A contact is supported at the distal end portion of the lever arm. Pivoting of the lever arm to bring the contact into contact with another contact on the housing causes the circuit breaker to enter the ON state. ...
