US Patent Issued to LB Marketing on Aug. 19 for "Dual power light source" (Georgia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,392,459, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to LB Marketing Inc. (Alpharetta, Ga.).

"Dual power light source" was invented by Douglas Kaye (Alpharetta, Ga.), Kelly Hires (Alpharetta, Ga.), Hamida Tanha (Tucker, Ga.), Lauren Lindley (Atlanta) and Kaif Dosani (Lawrenceville, Ga.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various embodiments of dual-powered lighting devices are described. In some examples, the device includes a light source, a first power source, a second power source, and one or more switching devices. The switching device switches between the first power source and the second power source to power the light source."
