ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,204, issued on June 17, was assigned to Lawrence Livermore National Security LLC (Livermore, Calif.).

"Transparent 3D printed siloxane elastomers" was invented by Jeremy M. Lenhardt (Tracy, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An ink includes a siloxane polymer having at least 13 mol. % diphenylsiloxane content relative to the total mol. % of the siloxane polymer, and a filler having a refractive index about matching a refractive index of the siloxane polymer where the refractive indices are within about 5% of one another but are ideally as closely matched as possible."
