ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,465,736, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to L'OREAL (Paris).

"Device comprising microneedles for in-situ reaction of a skin" was invented by Veronique Burnier (Chevilly-la-Rue, France) and Dominique Bordeaux (Chevilly-la-Rue, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A device including a base carrying a plurality of microneedles, and including at least one composition aimed at generating an in-situ reaction into the skin, scalp, or lips."

The patent was filed on Sept. 24, 2018, under Application No. 17/269,120.
